Gothic IIには、ゲームプレイの変更、アイテム追加、無敵化、ゴシック体験のカスタマイズができる豊富なチートコードシステムがあります。

How to Enable Gothic 2 Codes (Marvin Mode)

Before any cheat works, you must enable Marvin mode and open the console. Follow these steps:

Start Gothic II and load a save or begin a new game.
Press B to open the character screen.
Type the word "marvin" on your keyboard (no text box will appear, but the game will register it).
A message should confirm that Marvin mode is active.
Press F2 to open the console—here you type most cheats.
Type your chosen code and press Enter to run it. Press F2 again to close the console.

Some codes (like guardian or time) are entered on the character screen (B), not in the F2 console. The list below indicates where each code is used.

Gothic 2 Main Cheat Codes (2026)

These codes are entered on the character screen (press B). They affect immortality, time, weather, and NPC appearance.

In the F2 console, use insert to add items. Item codes use internal names (e.g. ItMi_ for items, ItMw_ for melee weapons, ItRw_ for bows/crossbows, ItAr_ for armor).

武器追加： insert [weapon_code] (e.g. ItMw_Schwert4 for a good longsword)

To get a full list of console commands, type save infofile in the F2 console. A README_CONSOLE file will be created in your Gothic II System folder with all available commands.
